Recyclable

PP Polymer, sister company and inventor of PaxymerTM, has worked with solving client specific polymeric problems in an environmentally friendly way for 25 years. This commitment is embodied in ]]> PaxymerTM. Fusing environmentally conscious with health and functional aspects – PaxymerTM is a holistic solution.

A fully functional replacement to POPs
The substances we are looking to replace are so called Persistant Organic Pollutants or POPs. Increased use of
PaxymerTM will limit use of bromine, antimony and chlorine among others. These are all substances that are included in the Stockholm Convention and that are present in the watch lists of the RoHS directive and ChemSecs SIN-list.

PaxymerTM is the fully functional alternative to substitute these persistent chemicals without compromising other important aspects such as safety or product characteristics. We believe that POPs will be the next big issue for the world to handle, Paxymer is a part of the solution to create a toxic free environment.

Paxymer is a part of the POPs-free pilot project

Paxymer entered into the POPs-free pilot project as the first materials manufacturer, the incentive is designed to inform consumers and producers of the actual composition of the materials they use and are exposed to through the certification by an objective third party. The testing agency is the Environment Agency Austria and the Project is sorted under UNEP and the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention.

The tests resulted in the following certification: PaxymerTM IN103 (reaches UL94-V0 @ 1.6 mm) has been tested as part of the Stockholm Convention POPs-free Products Pilot Project and does not contain the tested substances to the defined detection limit. You can find the full test report here.
