Easy to handle

The PaxymerTM system is based on a several functional polymers that gives the system its the unique properties. This also gives it excellent processing properties and very low impact on mechanical properties.

PaxymerTM has low impact on MFI and leaves little or no deposition on the screws. Compared to mineral systems processing speeds are higher and energy use is much lower. In addition there are no restrictions or requirements when it comes to handling PaxymerTM. It contains no classified substances and is delivered in pelletized form.

Compared to mineral, antimony and some bromine systems, PaxymerTM has a lower density. This further reduces your material bill, maintained mechanical properties at a lower weight per volume.

Recyclable

You can recycle PaxymerTM without any loss in flame retarding capacity. This means that you can greatly decrease your material waste while fulfilling the same high flame retarded standard on the end product.

Enhances your material

PaxymerTM is designed with a holistic outlook on the problems that manufacturers of plastic products face, it maintains the properties of the base polymer such as surface properties, media resistance, conductivity, tensile strength, impact resistance and so forth. In shortPaxymerTM behaves like any polymer in the process.

PaxymerTM works well both in extrusion and injection moulding applications.

Come meet us at FIVE

Paxymer will participate as an exhibitor on the Fires In Vehicles fair in Gothenburg the 29-30 September 2010. The conference is arranged by SP, the Swedish equivalent to UL, and will be attended by a number of Swedish and international car, truck and bus manufacturers and sub contractors as well as representatives for testing laboratories and experts. You can meet Paxymer and hear more about the only green flame retardant in booth 13. For more information visit SPs webpage or the campaign site.
